Longevity Fest 2026
Longevity Fest is an international festival dedicated to longevity, science, Blue Zones, culture, wellbeing and the relationship between people and place. Born in Sardinia, one of the world's original Blue Zone territories, the festival brings researchers, scientists, artists and cultural leaders together in Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda.
Science, culture and longevity
The fifth edition explores successful ageing, long-lived communities, food and lifestyle, innovation, culture and the future of longevity. Sardinia is the starting point for a broader international conversation on how we can live longer and better.
Special Guest
Steve McCurry is the Special Guest of Longevity Fest 2026 and recipient of the Longevity Award, celebrating an extraordinary career dedicated to documenting humanity across cultures and generations.
Blue Zone research
Giovanni Mario Pes, co-discoverer of the Sardinian Blue Zone, joins the festival together with leading researchers and experts in ageing and longevity.
Finding the Blue
Film, photography and storytelling are part of the programme, including the documentary journey connected to Sardinian Blue Zone research.
2026 programme
October 3: Corsa del Selvaggio, book presentation, food, wellness and longevity experiences, opening of the fifth edition, Blue Zone research, Sardinia as a longevity destination and the special screening of Finding the Blue.
October 4: Corsa del Selvaggio, Steve McCurry as Special Guest, Longevity Award 2026, conversations on successful ageing, culture and longevity, and the award ceremony with gala dinner.
